GESU Catholic School Students Raise $3,200 for Edwins

July 13, 2018

The students at Gesu Catholic School in University Heights, OH, raised $3,200 for EDWINS Leadership and Restaurant Institute as part of the Ohio Catholic FCU Challenge Grant Program. Students made and served Lenten soup lunches for their fundraising.

Ohio Catholic provided a $500 grant to the students and they were encouraged to use their gifts to double that gift for a recipient of their choice. Students presented a check to EDWINS and explained how they were able to fund raise! EDWINS Leadership and Restaurant Institute said, “We were truly grateful to receive such a generous gift! Gesu Catholic School and Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union are great examples how passion and compassion make a tremendous difference!” Thank you to all the students who use God’s gifts for this great cause!
