In keeping with its commitment to support Catholic parishes, Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union will be awarding up to $40,000 in Catholic parish ministry grants in 2021. 

These grants will range up to $5,000, with every qualified member parish being guaranteed a minimum $500 grant. 

The 2021 Parish Ministry Grant Application will go live beginning June 1, 2021 and will be open until July 31, 2021.  All grant applicants will receive award notification letters no later than Friday, September 10, 2021.

To qualify for the Catholic Parish Ministry Grant Program, parishes must meet ONE of the following requirements:

1. Have a minimum of $50,000 on deposit with Ohio Catholic FCU
2. Have a commercial loan with Ohio Catholic FCU

Grants are intended for programs or projects that promote or enhance the betterment of the parish and/or surrounding community. 

Grants are not intended for capital campaigns or improvements, endowments, foundations, or general operating budgets. 

Please also note that grants cannot be used towards employee salaries, travel expenses, or any personal or individual gain.

After the grants are awarded, parishes will be required to provide a summary report detailing the progress and outcomes resulting from the grant funding. 

Since 2014, Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union has donated more than $850,000 back to the Catholic community in the form of grants, scholarships, and contributions to Catholic parishes, schools, and non-profit organizations.
